June 2007 Extra
Nick, Dave and Stuart are all in the same room to record this mid-month Jodcast. We talk to Benoît Famaey about possible corrections to Newton's famous laws of gravitation, we kick-off a new 60-second astro society segment with the Macclesfield Astronomical Society and we get your questions answered by Ian Morison.

Interview with Dr Benoît Famaey (Université Libre de Bruxelles)
Nick Rattenbury talked to Benoit Famaey about the suggestion of alterations to Sir Isaac Newton's Universal Law of Gravitation. This idea, known as MOdified Newtonian Dynamics (MOND), would change the strength of gravity on the scale of galaxies and reduce the need for some of the proposed dark matter within galaxies.

Ask an astronomer - The Sun's sisters and gravitational waves
Nick puts listener questions to Ian Morison. First up we find out what would have happened to the stars that formed from the same original cloud of gas as the Sun. We also find out how the amazingly sensitive gravitational wave detectors such as LIGO compensate for seismic activity.
